Ranma’s out walking on the fence tops when she falls off into the canal. A red haired woman sees her fall and crosses the street to help her, walking in front of a speeding taxi. Without thought Ranma pushed the woman away and gets hit by the car. Ranma suffers total amnesia and is adopted by the woman.
